Xenoblade Chronicles composer Manami Kiyota has signed up to contribute music to upcoming Japan-inspired Metroidvania, Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus.
Bō is a hand-drawn 2D platformer based in a colourful world of Japanese folklore. Players control a fox spirit that grows from lotus blossom “after being blessed by the moon god”.
The game was funded on Kickstarter with $175,000, and will release for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on July 17.
