A notable leaker has claimed that Team Asano, developer of hit Square Enix JRPGs like Bravely Default and Octopath Traveler, is working on a sequel to one of its titles. Team Asano, led by producer Tomoya Asano, is part of Square Enix’s Creative Business Unit II, with the team responsible for a number of JRPGs. Fans may know the team best as the developers of Square Enix’s 2D-HD games, the most notable of these games being the Octopath Traveler series and Triangle Strategy. Before this team was formed, the series that arguably helped kickstart the team’s success could be traced to Bravely Default.
