An Elden Ring player ended up with what they called a Walmart version of Messmer the Impaler from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion after they tried to make a character based on the boss using only gear already available in the base game. Messmer will be encountered in the upcoming DLC’s new area, the Land of Shadow.
