Using seeds for crafting is not required to beat Hades 2; its an easy way to unlock Incantations, Arcana Cards, and other upgrades to make the descent through the Underworld much easier. Instead of simply waiting to find plants and other reagents in scattered rooms, Melinoe can find and plant seeds herself. Naturally, these seeds are spread out across the different zones in Hades 2.
