7 Days to Die, one of the longest-running open-world survival games on Steam, is finally launching into 1.0 after over a decade of early access development. While the game’s community has fluctuated over the years, the zombie-themed game has retained a healthy playerbase since it first debuted in 2013 thanks to a relatively steady stream of updates and patches by developer The Fun Pimps. Despite the fact that the game’s lengthy early access period has turned into somewhat of a meme, the studio is moving ahead with an official launch and its pulling out all the stops.
