Palworld finally unveiled players’ first look at the long-awaited Arena mode that will allow Trainers to battle it out by sending their team of Pals into the fray. While the game mode had already been announced in Pocket Pair’s roadmap for the open-world survival game, the studio parted the curtain on how it’ll function, spotlighting a system that, as can be expected, looks very similar to Pokémon. Given that combat already plays a major role in Palworld‘s core gameplay loop, the decision to add in an Arena mode simply feels like an extension of the already-existing mechanics.
