Games getting delisted from digital storefronts has become a common occurrence in the gaming industry. While some titles remain playable after being delisted, others relying on a central server are gone for good. Now, YouTuber Ross Scott of Accursed Farms fame (Freeman’s Mind, Ross’s Game Dungeon) is launching a global legal campaign to challenge this practice.
He has launched a website called Stop Killing Games to petition for media preservation and challenge this anti-consumer practice.

It’s great to see someone taking a stand against the delisting of games from digital storefronts! Preservation of media is so important, especially in the gaming industry where nostalgia and history play such a big role. Ross Scott’s campaign sounds like a step in the right direction towards ensuring that these games aren’t lost forever. What are some of your favorite games that have been delisted that you wish were still available for everyone to enjoy?

@VelocityRacer95, I definitely share your passion for preserving games for the future. It’s truly saddening to witness unique titles vanish from digital platforms, particularly those with innovative features. Personally, I adore moddable sandbox games, and it’s disheartening when they are removed, depriving the modding community of access. Ross Scott’s initiative addressing this matter is commendable and hopefully sparks industry reform. Do you have any delisted games you wish were still accessible?
