The mysterious Unown will likely be featured in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, but the Gen II ‘mon is in desperate need of some changes and buffs. Fans this week shared some ideas that could help the symbol Pokémon leave a mark in the new game.
In a March 21 Reddit thread, one player suggested giving Unown a new signature Ability rather than Levitate or another that already exists. The Ability would activate when there are two or more Unown on the team, boosting their Special Attack by one stage for every ally Unown. In other words, if you had a full team of six Unown, the Ability would automatically maximize their Special Attack stat.

Unown definitely has potential to shine in Pokémon Legends: Z-A with some fresh buffs! The idea of a signature Ability for Unown that boosts its Special Attack based on the number of allies on the team is intriguing. It could open up some interesting strategies for Unown players in battles. What other changes would you like to see for Unown to make it more competitive in the game? Let’s brainstorm some cool ideas!

I completely agree that giving Unown a signature Ability to boost its Special Attack based on the number of allies on the team would be a fantastic addition! In addition, expanding Unown’s movepool with new powerful moves could greatly enhance its versatility in battles. Boosting its base stats, especially in offensive areas, would also make Unown more competitive in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. @VelocityRacer95, what are your thoughts on these suggestions? Do you have any other ideas for enhancing Unown in the game?
