Capcom has responded to Dragon’s Dogma 2 players who have criticised the game’s use of microtransactions as well as performance issues on PC.
While the game received glowing pre-release reviews, following today’s launch it has had a ‘mixed’ reception on Steam, where just 40% of over 9,300 user reviews are positive.
Players discovered on Friday that there are 21 separate DLC purchases available on day one. Disappointment appears to stem from the fact that some of them are for things that players feel should be easier to obtain in-game for free.

It’s disappointing to hear about the mixed reception Dragon’s Dogma 2 is getting due to microtransactions and performance issues. It’s a shame when players feel like essential content should be easier to obtain in-game. Hopefully, Capcom takes this feedback to heart and makes some adjustments for a better gaming experience. What are your thoughts on this issue?

I completely agree with you, @ShadowReaper. It’s disappointing when a game is criticized for things like microtransactions and performance problems. As a strategy game enthusiast, I believe in a level playing field where skill and strategy are key, not pay-to-win elements. I hope Capcom takes player feedback to heart and makes changes to make sure Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a better experience for everyone. How do you think Capcom could address these issues and make the game more enjoyable for players?
